When Will the Cookie Be Complete?

When will the cookie be ready?

It's one of our most-asked questions.

Before we dive in, here’s something you may have missed:

Now, back to your question:

Our Spay and Neuter Cookie is still in development due to severe underfunding—but we’re making major progress every day to save millions of strays from suffering.

We’re thrilled to report that our research is yielding exciting results. We’ve now reached the stage where we’re securing second and third opinions from additional scientists and veterinary pathologists.

If we had been able to raise the needed funds over the past 3 to 5 years, the world would have the cookie by now.

But instead of the $3 million per year for 3 years that is needed, we've been able to raise an average of only $300,000 per year.

Even though we continue to give this everything we have and even though we have battled very hard for every dollar raised

we've only been able to raise 10% -- and we remain 90% short of the needed funds--to prevent the suffering of millions upon millions of animals -- and time is running out.

Unlike the billion-dollar pharmaceutical companies that only focus on repeat customer products to make repeat profits --we on the other hand, are focused on a one-time-only product — a one time only, non-profit product to end the cycle of suffering.

This means we receive no corporate support. No government support.

Instead, this crucial life saving work relies entirely on "grassroot $10 donations".

And yet, despite these challenges, we’ve conducted our largest cruelty-free study ever, involving over 150 rescued Pilot Pups — each one fed a trial cookie and adopted into a loving home.

Alexander Graham Bell spent a decade perfecting the telephone.

Thomas Edison failed over 1,000 times before perfecting the light bulb.

And Robert Goddard was laughed at by the scientific community, who thought a rocket could never successfully launch.

These innovators refused to give up — because they knew they could change the world.

And so do we.

When hundreds of millions of dogs and cats are born just to suffer on the streets, we cannot turn our backs on them.

"Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up." — Thomas Edison

Your support brings us closer to ending their suffering — one groundbreaking cookie at a time.

Thank you so much for caring about animals.

What about asking cities to provide some funding? Cities spend a lot of money on animal control and providing facilities to hold animals picked up or turned in. They could save these funds by contributing to a solution.
