Rubio chose her. Would she choose him?

I will wait for you.

What happens when a dog chooses you and refuses to let go? For Olivia and Rubio, it all started with a single act of kindness.

During one of her regular trips to Buenos Aires, flight attendant Olivia Sievers noticed a stray dog outside her hotel and felt drawn to help him.

She offered him food and soon started calling him "Rubio."

Each time Olivia returned to Buenos Aires, Rubio was there waiting, his tail wagging with joy. She tried not to get too attached – after all, she couldn’t bring home every stray she met. But Rubio’s unwavering loyalty was impossible to ignore.

Wanting the best for Rubio, she arranged for him to stay at a local shelter, hoping he’d find a good home in Buenos Aires. But Rubio had other plans. He escaped the shelter and returned to the hotel!

At that moment, Olivia knew she and Rubio were meant to be together.

Adopting Rubio and bringing him to her home in Germany wasn’t an easy process, but Olivia was determined. Today, Rubio thrives in his new life, enjoying adventures with Olivia and basking in the warmth of his forever home.

Just like Rubio, all stray dogs and cats deserve safety and kindness. But few are lucky enough to find someone willing to fight for them. Many are viewed as nothing more than a "menace" to be killed by any cheap method, no matter how cruel.

This is why our mission is to end the #1 cause of suffering and death for dogs and cats -- overpopulation -- by developing a permanent-lasting birth control cookie that will only need to be eaten one time, and it will in effect spay or neuter -- without surgery.
